Conferences

The Icelandic Tourism Research Centre is involved in and consults on various product development projects around the country. Representatives of the centre present at numerous municipal and other tourism stakeholder meetings. The centre is party to tourism education programmes and competence building workshops but also organises an independent lecture series in collaboration with various stakeholders and partners both domestically and internationally. In addition staff from the centre attends a number of international  and local conferences, including:

The annual ITRC Micro Conference
Since 2011 ITRC has hosted its annual micro-conference at he University of Iceland. The conference begins with short presentations from various experts providing their insights on the conference theme followed by comments and questions.
