Practical Information
RTD-13 will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland. The venue is Hannesarholt. The venue is centrally located in Reykjavík and has excellent accessibility.
Reykjavik is the most northerly capital in the world. The city is modern and only minutes away from magnificent landscapes and natural wonders.
Keflavik International Airport is 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik city centre. Frequent shuttle services are operated by Flybus and Airport Express from the airport to the city centre as well as all major hotels within the city. Bus route nr. 55 at Strætó (the public transportation system in Iceland) takes you between the airport and central Reykjavík (BSÍ – Bus terminal) 12 times a day.
Accommodation
We have pre-booked a fixed number of rooms at discounted hotel rates for symposium delegates at Radisson BLU Saga Hotel. The hotel is within the University of Iceland main campus and just a short walk from the Reykjavik City Centre. To get rooms at these rates, please book the hotel on the online registration form on our website. Please note: Discount rates are only available until 14 August.
