Today, May 20th, a photography exhibition titled The Arctic Biodiversity “Through the Lens” opened at Harpa, Reykjavík. The exhibition follows a photography competition by the same title held in 2014 and 2018 with the indent to raise awareness of the importance of Arctic biodiversity, bring attention to the multiple challenges facing Arctic biodiversity and celebrate the beauty of the Arctic.

The office of CAFF (Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna) is the organiser of the Through the Lens competition, and organises the exhibition in cooperation with IASC (International Arctic Science Committee), both with headquarters in the Arctic Town of Akureyri.

The ITRC is one amongst several other partners to the project.
